I heart Sky. Last night, I had just gotten back from a hotel and was channel surfing and guess what was on? None other but Sports Night! So I got to watch it again. Haven't seen that in such a long time. And I really miss Sorkin-dialogue, how it takes about three minutes for someone to make a point, because of the banter. Ahhhh. Bliss. ROFLOLOL!! Oh, I'd have paid good money to see the look on your face.

And yes, craic has multiple uses. When I'd occasionally phone my friend Bernie when I got back here, she'd always give me the whole run-down and then say "Well, that's all the craic" when she was finished. And I'm sure you've seen the signs out side pubs advertising "Music and good craic." I always especially loved those. :)

At first, I was shocked and then remembered everyone warning us about that, and so then proceeded to chuckle to myself for awhile. I had to be fairly quiet about it during RE so as not to offend anyone. ;)

Ooh--forgot to mention: get someone to record a conversation with you just before you leave NI, or just after you get back. I found out several weeks after it disappeared that I'd had quite a "lilt" when I returned, and wish like hell I knew what it sounded like.

You're so lucky you can pass for a native. I stick out pretty damn bad. And of course I can barely even hold converstion let alone an intelligent one...

Hey, at least you're pushing yourself to learn another language and to use it. I'm sure people respect you for being able to do that. Me, on the other hand? I generally speak English. ;)

Hahaha, that's great! (bout the taxi driver) Have any foreign tourists come up to you yet and asked you for directions, yet? 'Cause THAT'S really cool and funny too. Especially when you actually are able to confidently help them out and act like you are really from there.;)
