Last night turned out to be not as awkward as I'd thought it would be. Mostly we just watched movies and talked, which was just fine. I went sober for my first legal New Year's Eve, with sparkling cider instead of champagne or some such. Suited me just fine. We made lots of noise last night at midnight, too. Mmm, the fact that you can spontaneously combust is reassuring. ;)

I do plan on taking pictures, I'm opening a prettier blog on blogspot and will post pictures on there, so I will start a photobucket.

You're down to your last week before you leave? WOW! It's gonna be such an amazing experience for you.

BTW, this might have changed in the last ten years, but I kinda doubt it--have I mentioned that the Belfast airports (assuming you're flying in there) have some of the strictest security in the world? Not trying to freak you out, just to make sure you're prepared. I can't imagine you'd have anything that would cause a problem, especially flying in, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

Okay. The security info is good to know. Especially since eventually I'll have to fly out. I had a sneaking suspicion because they told us to fly in from England for security purposes, so I figured it wasn't your average flying situation. ;)
