Happy New Years
Last night turned out to be not as awkward as I'd thought it would be. Mostly we just watched movies and talked, which was just fine. I went sober for my first legal New Year's Eve, with sparkling cider instead of champagne or some such. Suited me just fine. We made lots of noise last night at midnight, too. Heehee.
Oh, and my close friends and I went out today. We decided to go to P.F. Chang's for dinner. Honestly, I don't know where this place has been my whole life. The restaurant in our area just opened last Monday, the waitress said. Anyway, the service was incredible, the food was... amazing, and the inside of the restaurant was just beautiful. Actually, there was this lettuce wrap appetizer that ended up being better than the food we ordered. Although, the Mangolian chicken ended up being OMG!Fantastic. Hmmm. I think I actually fell in love with the lettuce wrap. ;)
It's weird everyone else is heading off to go back to school this week. I don't even leave until next Monday. Then, I have a week of orientation, a week of my placement, and then I go to school. I am so nervous at the moment I could explode, and I'm sure it'll only get worse instead of better. Yeah. I'm not sure how long I'm going to last-- I hope you can't spontaneously combust from being really nervous.
