Somehow, in the midst of the move and my drastic reduction in internet time, I almost missed something amazingly hilarious. Exciting and cringing
Just submitted our counter on a HUD house. Basically agreeing to their counter. But there's another bidder now - we'll know by tomorrow afternoon! Kinda terrified but so excited, too! -
This made me teary
My munchkin's babysitter is at the U of M Amplatz Children's Hospital waiting for an infection to clear up so she can finally get a bone morrow transplant that's been postponed since June. Patients & staff made this music video to "Brave" by Sara Bareilles to show how they are brave. It's beautiful. :) -
ST Into Darkness
Finally saw ST: Into Darkness. The first half was awesome - I was quite happy and able to ignore plot holes, etc. Then they had the nerve to touch the radiation/engine room scene and not have the decency to even be sincere about it...... -
So unbelievably upset right now
I don't think I have ever been so unbelievably upset over fiction before. Maybe when I was 15 and having a meltdown over Frodo's death only to discover a few pages later that he was still alive?
