Well, since I got a marketplace table, I need to be there by friday morning. So, I added an extra day to my time off request, so that we can leave on thursday, find a place to stay thursday night (cheapo hotel pls!! OR friend willing to put us up) and then get all checked in and set up in time for the dealers hall/marketplace to open ( Read more... )

I e-mailed Imagination International, Inc. at www.copicmarker.com (the company that distributes copic markers to the US) and the lady I spoke to e-mailed me their three certified online retailers:

Period Style www.periodstyle.com
Oozak www.oozak.com
iCopic www.icopic.com

You may need to look through all three sites, as not all of them have all of the colors in stock.

I know that Blick (dickblick.com) carries Copics. I just get mine through the Art Center here in Eureka. I let them know which markers and refills I want and they order it for their next shipment. It might take a little longer (~2 weeks) but I don't pay for shipping. I could order them for you...it wouldn't do well for ones you need now, but it could work for FC. :)

Unfortunately, Blick does not carry copic refills. =( However, from the websites that I mentioned above, I know that Oozak www.oozak.com offers free shipping on any order of $50 or more (and that's not hard to spend on copics). It looks like iCopic www.icopic.com is offering a similar deal, free shipping on orders over $50 (if you sign up as a Gold member, which apparently is free).

We have a friend traveling down with us. No worries, I am sure we can find a cheap-ass hotel to stay in. :)
