You are either old or have really messed up your hearing by turning your amp up to 11 and listening to Spinal Tap. Or both.

The highest pitched ultrasonic mosquito ringtone that I can hear is 8kHzFind out which ringtones you can hear!I had to have my speakers up to full volumn to hear even that! But I lost the upper ( Read more... )

I've had that happen. What is even wierder is when you get a response that never shows up in your comments area. Strange.

That's ok. My speakers cut off at those high ranges! So I can't even begin the test!
I know I can hear high pitches, because I hear things Big Harold can't, but not with these speakers. Oh, well, they make all the important computer noises, just don't use them for high fidelity stuff.

with the volumne turned up half way I got this result..

You're a little frustrated that you can't hear all the tones that the young 'uns can but will be more than happy if it means you don't have to listen to their damn ringtones on the bus anymore.
