That is old! I have Windows 7 and I like it a lot. It's definitely a big improvement over Vista! :)

I had to get a new computer a while back..and it came with Win 7. No problems. I downloaded "Open Office" and Firefox and ...all is well.

My friends who use Windows 7 love it but said some of their older programs no longer worked or were compatible.

i'm using windows 7 on moneypenny - downloaded the beta and loved it and sprung for the retail version. there's a compatibility function I think that you can use with older programs? That seems to be more of an issue if you upgrade to win 7 64 bit than win 7 32 bit, so I hear - (i have win 7 ultimate).
