Oh!!!! I like the sound of this movie. More info! Buy the weather radio-you live in frickin' Kansas! :-)

It's called Nottingham. That's about all I know. lolol Check imdb.com for more info.

I am still sans weather radio, but my parents have one and we spend half the storms on the phone with each other (they live about ten miles west of me).

I HEARD that!

As the Servant, he's not my ex; I've just stopped pinging over the RL guy. But he'd make a good Robin Hood:)

Hope you survived the storm.

I was actually referring to your real life ex, the extra. *g*

But, yeah, I was baiting you anyway!

Storm wasn't anywhere as bad as projected, didn't even lose power or have any branches come down. Yay!

Still getting house ready for your descent. I bought two sleeping bags for the kidlings. They can fight over who gets Barbie and who gets Batman. *g*

What day do you have tickets for the Royals? Is it sunday the 27th? I may not be able to go as we're having a big celebration/remembrance at church all morning to honor the old building before we move into the new and I volunteered to sing. It probably won't end till nearly noon and the game that day starts at 1:00. :(

Anyhoo, less than a month!

And I was relieved the storm wasn't as bad as projected! Though I have to wonder where the 20000 people out at Clinton went to. lolol

Did you hear that Douglas County changed their policy after the 5/1/08 storm and will now sound tornado sirens if the warning is issued? Hopefully that will help relieve your mind on the weather radio issue, since your budget was already relieved.

Way to go with battery replacement.

Yeah, I saw that. I'm glad, though I never hear the siren in a noisy storm. Still, it's what they should have done all along.

It's weird, I grew up with a mom who can do stuff like that (and a dad who is the epitome of 'scholar') but she never taught me any of it and dad just never learned.
