Good movie, but geez!

Think I'll counteract it with something else Disney. Capt. Jack (the pirate one).

I haven't seen the movie, but read the book in grade school sometime. I remembered quite clearly what happened at the end, because I believe I was partially traumatized by it. Kid book? Really?

Ah, had you never read the children's book it was based on? I remember reading it when I was ten or so and thinking, "They give this shit out to KIDS???" Trau-mat-ic.

Read the book in college for kid's lit. When I saw that they were making a movie for it and saw the trailer, my first thought was there was going to be an awful lot of upset kids at this movie because it is not anything like Narnia.
