Busy off and on today so got no writing done. *sigh* Nor did I get Gotham watched which I did the naughty on in the hopes that other attorney would be gone over lunch like boss, but no such luck

I sent you a message via LJ a while back ... didja get it?
And I am so glad to hear that your dad's blood sugar is okay. I only know him via you, but I love him to pieces because of the way he still helps you anytime you need it. I'd love to have a dad. :)
Church sounds good, too. I wish I lived near you so I could check it out.
Honey, I did get it. It came right in the middle of nearly three weeks of stomach flu and all that left behind which put ME behind on a lot of writing challenges. I do want to write something for you. I will never forget how you were there for me way back in the days of horror. Your anger on my behalf kept me online, Chelle. I didn't give into the bitches because you were fighting for me.
I wish you could come visit! I'm so lucky to have a great relationship with my parents, and my brother too. I'd love for all my friends to meet my family (and me!)
I hope you're doing better. I know life has been incredibly hard the last few years and I miss seeing you online more often. Take care and I will try to get you a fic soon because I do love to write for my friends and, even though we may never meet, that's what you'll always be.
I know how that blood sugar weirdness can be. My fasting numbers are ALWAYS the highest of the day. I'll start around 120-130 and drop slowly all day. By midnight or so, I'm around 80 most nights. I don't eat after 10PM or so, but my blood sugar goes up anyway. Dr. B didn't believe it, really, till I started keeping a journal. I, too, rely more on the A1C.
Steroids don't raise my blood sugar by a little, though. They shoot that sucker through the roof. *sigh*
I'm so glad your dad doesn't have diabetes. It's a giant pain.
I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one who's blood sugar goes higher when I'm NOT eating. That's just so weird. Stupid bodies.
It's weird to have a chronic disease (two actually, as the ulcerated colitis is chronic but can go into remission). Not something I expected at 47. :( And diabetes can lead to so many other problems. I already have a greater chance for kidney disease since mom has stage 3 kidney disease and diabetes likes to attack the kidneys. Luckily I have NO symptoms of diabetes except facial hair, and I want to keep it that way!
