A Fearful Page

Today I have taught one of two lessons on the subject of Tarot and Psalms. It was -as always- astonishing how fast people can learn how to read a card, following Mary K.Greers approach. The second card they read as if they had done nothing else in their lives than reading cards. It was a lovely gathering as well.

I agree--Mary's approach is groundbreaking and fabulously accessible; I use it often in my teaching.

Yesterday The Jane Austen tarot arrived, after I read your comment about Mary Greer, about how much you appreciate her approach. I saw in your book again that you value her work very much. It was funny that I had read this just that morning in your comment as well! I value it very much as well. It were not the cards but her book (Tarot for Yourself) that brought me at the tarot ( ... )

It was a huge project. I have been preparing for a one day class I'm teaching on spreads today and I realized as I went to bed last night that, with the material I have, I could teach for a week and never run out of things to do/talk about. I am really obsessive about trying to give people "more bang for their buck." When I woke up, I realized that a dream I had reflected that obsessiveness.

And I think the JA book reflects that mentality.

I truly hope you enjoy your work with the deck and I look forward to reading about it.
