St. Godfrey A.D. 1115

Today I have pulled a card inspired by saint, not a nice one. It is St. Godfrey. He was a French monk and abbot during the twelfth century. His monastery flourished under his disciplined leadership. When he was appointed bishop of Amiens, he tried to apply this discipline to all the clergymen. He met so much resistance, that he almost stepped down
