We all had them in high school. They were the kids on the playground who chose one kid to pick on, and if you had the nerve to associate with that kid, you got picked on too. You, and he or she, were mocked, had things thrown at you, called names, and they told your friends lies about you so that your friends would be angry with you too

You know something? I've been feeling unbelievably shitty for days now. I come across those bully types usually at least once per day. Emotions have come up concerning people who have tried to make me feel less of a person and have had their own ways of treading me in the dirt. I realized that I've been catching way too much shit from way too many people. Your post kind of affirms to me that I don't have to take it. I think, thanks in no small part to this post, that I'll be feeling much better in the very near future.
