So Grams’ funeral is tomorrow. I asked my boss today if I could take the morning off, and then told her nevermind and that I would go to the showing this evening because there was no way I could get to work after the funeral. She responded, by reminding me that I have three days bereavement time and that all I had to do was bring in the obituary ( Read more... )

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think if a person buys something directly from your wishlist, it might be marked as purchased.

A) Good job on the job front. I'm glad they are making you take the day.

B) Screw the bad people. Or rather, hold out on them....that's probably better.

C) Happy Birthday! I was like that, never had a good one, but my friends took me to Great Times this year and OMG had a ball! Probably not the same in the winter, but I vote for SILLY! Chuck E Cheese and play skeeball all night. *grin*

I can probably host if no one else steps up, we have TV, DVDs, pool table and hot tub......

it's incredibly tempting to take you up on that, despite the fact that I'm not sure what the etiquette is on letting someone throw your birthday party who's never met you in person, LOL!

I'll vouch, Mobobocita's Hot Tub is AWESOME! As are the Puppies (that...um, or a bit older than puppies now).

Well, we don't have a hot tub or anything that spiffy but we'd be more than willing to host your party. Even if we don't host it, I will gladly bake you a cake.
