It was even hotter yesterday, but just enough breeze along the coast that it wasn't TOO hot, although only just. 29 miles yesterday, and I was feeling a lot wearier in the evening that I did after day 1. I wish the buses worked better for the 2 day option. I'm always okay when I just keep walking onwards; it's only stopping that causes me to

All looks very pretty and I agree that the first photo could be of a place on the Med if you didn't know better!

I'll admit that I'm a wimp when it gets too warm. Yesterday wasn't too bad, except that the car's a/c isn't working and we went to see my parents, who live about ten miles away. Twenty minutes-ish each way in a hot car - I thought those days were behind us!!

Today wasn't just verging on the Too Hot for walking; it was very definitely over into the Too Hot territory. I was very relieved to get home. Although, perversely, I am now too cold, and have just put a cardigan on, since I always cool down too fast after a long walk.

Honesty compels me to admit that it was actually 27.9. I rounded it up to 28, then accidentally rounded it up again.

I do like the idea of Blackgang Chine, especially since it's still owned by the same family that founded it back in 1843. However, this general feeling of fondness has never been enough to cause me to actually visit it
