After we both liked the grotto at Leeds Castle so much - something that could have been tacky, but was actually awesome - I decided to give Enchanted Osborne a go. I feel a bit sorry for the fairies in cages... but probably they would have got up to mischief if liberated.

The fairies were definitely smaller than the gaps between the bars of the cages, so they could have escaped had they wanted to. So why didn't they want to? We had various theories. Although I suppose there might have been a force field between the bars, invisible to the human eye, but still capable of stopping a fairy...
