Got a phone call from my son

I received a phone call from my son yesterday. I have been worried since I had not heard from him for a while. He told me he was thrown off a racehorse that he was training and he's injured his hand and neck. The horse is in training and is not fully used to be ridden yet. When Luke mounted

I am glad that your son and the horse are okay...as someone who rides I know how worrying falls can be

LOL, I have had my fair share of falls and being thrown off myself. I spoke to om again last night and he said he was feeling a lot better. :-)

So glad your son wasn't able to go to Christchurch as planned! Whew!

And am glad he wasn't to terribly injured in the fall. I went into a fencepost once. Much prefer a straightforward fall to the ground.
