Got a phone call from my son
I received a phone call from my son yesterday. I have been worried since I had not heard from him for a while. He told me he was thrown off a racehorse that he was training and he's injured his hand and neck. The horse is in training and is not fully used to be ridden yet. When Luke mounted
him, he started to shy and then bucked, poor Luke was unprepared and got thrown, hitting a water trough and a wall. *Ouch*. Both he and the horse are okay though, thank goodness. His fiancee and their baby are doing really well, I can hardly wait for the baby to be born. :-)
Luke was telling me that he and Kelsey had been planning a trip to Christchurch the day the earthquake hit, only he could not get the time off work at the racing stables. Have to go, I have to take my daughter to school.
