Yes! Everyone should write Steve/Tony because they're awesome.

Tony's reaction when Steve tells him he loves him for the first time.

A/N: Finally wrote Tony POV, yay. I bet I screwed it up, though. XD

Wooing Tony StarkTony loves his work. Really, he does. He gets paid an outstanding amount to tinker with machinery, two things he enjoys very much, especially in tandem. Sometimes, however, it really sucks to be the CEO of an international, multibillion dollar company ( ... )

I don't know why you were so worried about writing from Tony's point of view sweetheart because I think you nail it. I loved his dislike of surprises, even when they're nice surprises. Steve is such a sweetheart.

Thank you so much, bb. I'm always worried in a new fandom that I'm going to blow characterization, especially when it's a fandom and characters that technically aren't new at all. So much history comes with them, so that's a relief to hear you say. THANK YOU. *smish* ♥

A/N: Recs would be much appreciated. Hope you like this, love. ♥

In Sickness and HealthTony has read every bit of information his father, Howard, documented on Captain America. Even if the inventor of the super soldier serum is long dead, to the point where Steve’s superior stamina may never again be replicated, Tony embarks on his relationship with Steve pretty certain that he knows as much as, if not more than, anyone else. He feels secure in his - admittedly holey, he now realizes - knowledge ( ... )

That's the Tony Stark way. He's slick and cool as a puddle...till something flies wildly out of his control. Good thing Steve's there, lol.

I'm glad you liked it, bb. ♥

What would a business newspaper such as the Financial Times write when Tony and Steve's relationship becomes public?

Since it's not a tabloid, I thought they might keep it as short as you want it :)

Subscribed to Your Issues

On his way home from a jog, Steve passes a newsstand. All of the covers flash out at him, but only because of the overly familiar faces they flaunt: his and Tony’s. The Steve in the picture has his lips twisted into a grimace and Tony’s hand at the small of his back, guiding him down a red carpet. Both men are wearing suits and their other team-members are visible in the background, Thor with his long hair tied back into a slick blond ponytail, bored and beautiful Natasha in a red mermaid-cut dress, Clint grinning at her, Bruce flinching, but they aren’t the center of attention.

Over Tony’s smirking head, in colorfully bold text, an Entertainment News magazine title reads, Billionaire Playboy Bats for the Other Team? and has the caption, is Tony Stark bi? beneath it. Other newspapers and magazines imitate the first, either contesting or agreeing with its findings ( ... )

Thank you :) It's brilliant! Gotta love the Entertainment News headline :D And I like how they think it's going to be bad for Stark's business. I'm in no way an expert but I'd agree with the FT, simply because Captain America means stability and what's better for business than that?

Their interaction is really sweet and I thought that Tony was really in character. Thanks so much, I love it!

Thank you so much, bb. It was a pleasure to write and I'm so happy you enjoyed it. I agree, Steve and Tony dating wouldn't negatively impact Tony's finances. Silly pillow papers. I was just thinking of some recent controversy about how a big franchise store was denigrated for using Ellen Degenerous as a spokes-model, which sucks. One's sexuality should not have that result, but sadly does. Not for Tony, though. He'd out-BAMF anyone who tried. XD

It's a relief you found Tony in character. Thanks again for the prompt. ♥

Thanks so much for links, bb. I love Steve/Tony, Tony/Loki (and Thor/Loki); I also read pretty much everything, so these links will have to be a good starting point, because I don't have specifics, lol. THANK YOU. ♥
