HEEE!!! Now, now (wags finger), stop reading my mind!

Now wwe need a third where both Lee and Bill try to make it up to Laura... And where Baltar is found dead (killed by those women who were "helping" him).

SNORFLE!!! You guys just caused me to spew my Perrier at my screen--damned thing looks like it needs windshield wipers now.
Yes, it would definitely serve Baltar right!!! BWA-HA-HA! And now it's gone and burrowed into my twisted little brain and lodged there.
HMMM!!! I've got to go dig up my old medical encyclopedia--not promising anything as I've got a couple of stories besides the ones in this series racing around the old noggin, but as the Brits say "What a capital idea!"
It's too good an idea to go to waste--so let me know if either of you do anything with it!

While Lee was pontificating on the stand about personal responsibility ... he forgot one very important detail ... Baltar has never and will never acknowledge any guilt or personal responsibility because he doesn't feel any
You've hit the nail right on the head; from the very beginning, in Baltar's eyes, nothing he does ... none of the consequences of his actions are ever his fault. That's what makes him compelling to me in a way--every time I think he can't get any lower, he sinks deeper and deeper.
I definitely hope that in this rumored third part, there is a mention of Lee trying to make amends ... to Laura for some of things he said to her during "Goodbye, Captain Apollo."
Sorry, but you might have to wait a bit for it--gotta get mah A/R lovin'in there--and also the long-awaited Kara interrogation, but I definitely will have another Lee/Laura scene before the series is over; I like symmetry.
Bill did that for *her*. I hope someone points ( ... )

I loved the way you expanded on Bill's explanation of why he voted not-guilty (from what we actually got to see).
Glad to oblige--my favourite type of fanfic provides glimpses into all those little scenes we never see on screen. HEE!
Hope you like the rest.
