cool people there That sure is a plus to the experience; as the saying goes, college (and travel) broadens one.

That's interesting that you had no frame of reference for not attending directly out of high school. Did you mean you didn't know anyone who did this? Went right into the service, for instance?

Hey, pronker! *Hugs* How are you?

And yeah, very true about college. As for the frame of reference thing, I guess I more meant for me personally. Though I do know one person who didn't attend directly out of high school. He seems to be doing okay with the job he has now, thankfully.

((hugs galore)) I am well, thanks, hope you are the same. I'm searching for new tenants again, a little down about that. :/

Anyway, college was a fantastic time of life. I worked after high school, went to a State University for one year, did okay grade-wise, and then left. I think I wanted to work more than sit in a classroom, so when I returned to college to finish my degree after saving enough money, it was so much more fulfilling. Lots of drive honed by Corporate America, ha!

That's great to hear of your acquaintance whose job fills his needs now; when you know someone a long time and see them progress, it's truly inspiring. :)

*Hugs back* Definitely good luck with the new tenants thing! And I'm doing all right. Suffering a bit of writer's block for a challenge I'm doing, but I'm all right. :)

Yeah, college is pretty cool so far. Pretty laidback, just for starters. And the people there are great.

And yeah, it really is.
