I don't really have a frame of reference for going to work right out of high school, so in terms of the pluses and minuses of going to college...
The pluses are that you have some pretty interesting classes to choose from. I know that my Film and Lit class was definitely one of the best ones. And you meet some cool people there. I definitely remember that I met someone in my Math for the Liberal Arts class who was very cool. And the teachers can be very cool. In addition, you get to get out of school early, and you can actually choose which days you go to class (unlike with high school and middle school and elementary school, where you have to go 24/7). The minuses are that you kind of have to take some classes you're not as fond of (kind of like high school), and the red tape at this particular school can be very frustrating. I know my mom found it frustrating. I think by and large, college has been pretty frustrating, but it's also had its joys.
