Today I got roses. Sweet.

I had a few really good days this week. I did some work with the babies--some of the things that are just simple repetition, just need to get done, but are really hard to do when I'm in too much pain to do *anything*--did some work around the house, got started mentally outlining a few more things to do ( Read more... )

J: but it doesn't make sense to me to spend hundreds of hours on a costume for something

So, apparently hard water eats metal plumbing, as we learned last summer when a pipe in the wall sprung a leak. The plumber said that the pipe had been put together fine, everything was normal, it's just that over time water hard as ours corrodes metal pipes ( Read more... )

I spent several hours sitting with/lying with Saedy on the floor, trying to calm and comfort her as best possible, while they got ready to do her surgery. She was a sick, sick doggy.

My back is killing me. Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh. Oh, this is terrible.

So a couple of weeks ago my big brother and his wife and a friend of theirs came to FL. J and I met them at the zoo in Tampa (on the coldest day of the year so far, the animals were not enjoying themselves) and then they came here to visit for a day. That was delightful.
