This is absolutely stunning.

I love the images of Charlie - and how it develops as Colby starts to understand what he needs. The confrontation scene with Don flowed perfectly too and the shifting of focus onto how it's affecting Colby.

Messy, difficult, and with kink too - utterly brilliant.

I'm so glad to hear that there's a sequel in the works...I think I'll just be oer here turning it into an entire 'verse in my head...

it's already an entire 'verse in mine. the sequel is about 70 pages. the sequel to that is at 80 pages and only about a third done. The sequel to that should be shorter but it's only been roughly outlined.

ooooh. I liked. I liked this fic a *lot* (and feel slightly worried about admitting that, but hey, never mind). Dark and screwed up and psychologically broken Charlie is good, but Colby, trying to understand and protect when he's in way over his head is just fantastic.

OMG woman! this story hit every nerve going down...wow! I loved it. I was just lamenting the serious lack of charlie HC in this fandom last week and now this! YEsssssssssssss!
poor charlie what a unique spin on his genious. Makes perfect sense. I wish the show would touch on some of the eccentric behavior a lot of Super smart people exhibit. charlie is the perfect character for this.

I am so anxiously awaiting the sequel. and another story you say? AWESOME!!!!!!
