I absolutely adored this!! There was something so *real* about it, about Elena's death bringing them together (it kind of reminded me of the overall theme of "The Lovely Bones," if you haven't watched it, I highly reccomend it... it's a bit campy, but heartbreakingly impactual nonetheless). I loved how you had Caroline bring some levity to this fairly bleak predicament... and Damon showing up at Bonnie's house unannounced with his obnoxious smoke-screen in over-drive was utter perfection... really amazing stuff :)

Thank you. "Quiet" is a perfect way to describe what I was going for, I didn't want it to be flashy and telegraphy, just for things to sort of happen the way they would in real life when you just find yourself next to someone and it makes sense -- no fanfare, no incessant talking about it, it just is. So yes.

Thanks so much, I'm thankful you liked it. I think my heart would break if Bonnie ever became something like this on the show, break into a million pieces. But they could definitely pull her along a dark path if they wanted to a few more seasons in *sob*
