And the tracklisting! Further proof that the Cure's Lovesong is THE love song of this fic, it also appears on this mix - "whenever I'm alone with you, I feel like I am young again". It's Poison/Frank all over.
The two tracks by Coheed and Cambria are both incredible, and really feel like they fit in the 'verse. Fast Car - a song I knew, but not a version I knew and it really does feel like a song for Frank and Gerard and the Trans Am. Past Lives by The Bronx is so right not only in mood, but also lyrically "maybe in the next life I'll be a hero not a criminal". Epic Last Song is such a Frank/Gerard song, and Home is so sweet and adorable and THEM.
I've saved mention of My Blue Heaven by Taking Back Sunday for last because holy SHIT I am in love with this song. It's so wonderfully fitting for the fic lyrically too - "And it's all too familiar" "Sometimes it just feels better to give in" "It's you I can't deny". It hits SO many points in the story and it's a really good song to boot.
