I've been trying to work on stories myself, and my inspiration seems to be stuck on the lowest setting. Must be something in the air.

I would definitely read a story about lesbians and magical dimension-jumping and trans gods! It sounds better than half the things on the best-seller list right now.

I managed to get started again tonight, but I'm so tired! I don't know if I can keep going, and who knows if inspiration will be there tomorrow.

Been there. I'll be sending positive thoughts your way in the hope that you get it back!

Very cool on all counts!

It's always great to have a prof ask you to do something/recognize you :)

I'm really adoring The Land of Stories, with just a few nitpicks (one being Chris' pronunciation of frustrated). It tickles me no end, really makes my work commute enjoyable.

How does he pronounce frustrated? (Obviously hadn't noticed.)

He almost doesn't pronounce the first 'r' so it comes out as fustrated.

Also, Sleeping Beauty's prince was named Phillip.

There might be a third nit-pick to do with their quest, but I won't know until I know the ending.

He had a name? In the original?

Good for you! And I'd read an original fic by you anytime.

I read TLOS first before I listened to it for that very reason. I knew I'd me too distracted by his voice to comprehend the story. lol

The voices ARE really good, though. Even if I'm occasionally laughing because I'm imagining Chris doing the parts in the studio... I've gotten over it, mostly!

YES, the audiobook of TLoS is quite entertaining. I was a bit on the fence about buying the book but I heard the free sample posted a little while ago and figured if I ever did buy it, it would be in audio form. I'm glad I did because Chris' character voices alone are worth the price of purchase.
