We went to the zoo!

The weather was very nice this past weekend, and so we took the opportunity to go to the zoo. We actually got a zoo membership, so now we can go back whenever we want to in the next year! Yay! Which means that my friends list should be prepared to get spammed occasionally with random zoo stuff, hehe. ^_^

Hey, I saw this post last night but right when I was going to comment the cable went out. We had a lightning storm. I was watching a movie on tv at the time too, The Island with Ewan McGregor. So, I'm back.

You make me feel ashamed. I still haven't posted pictures of my California vacation and you're posting pictures from only a day or two ago. I'm so behind!!!! Anyway, I love your pictures. I heard the zoo there is really good. Ours is cool too. I'm not a member since I can never find it in crazy downtown, but I have been there about five times (someone else always drives). It's always so stinking hot though! We have lots of trees in our zoo which helps a little for shade. Your favorite picture is my favorite picture. Tigers have always been one of my favorite animals. They're just so cool! Thanks for sharing!

Don't feel guilty about not posting your CA pics yet! You had a long trip and were tired and busy afterwards!

Oh I read on MSN that the Cincinnati Zoo is one of the top 3 family friendly zoos in the country; they said that it's really nice, but also not too big since there's limited space so it's easier to walk around with kids. Oh it was really hot at our zoo on Sunday too; there are trees in the North American part, but there's lots and lots of hot concrete in the rest.

That is soooo cool. I enjoy a zoo where you can see the animal up close. Your pictures are all great. Thanks for sharing. Wow, you have a zoo fetish....even have a matching icon fu fu fu.

*LOVE* the wolf and the tigers (but the babeh!goats are so cute and fluffy!) I saw some beautiful tigers last time we went to Florida and I always want to pet them so badly ^^

Yay for more animal pictures in the future!!

When I was little my best friend, my brother, and I all had our picture taken with a tiger cub at the circus! It was so cool!

Oh, I didn't write this in the main post because no one else would have known what I was talking about, but I had Twilight on the brain at the zoo, hehe. The grizzly bears were playing, which looks a lot like fighting, and while I was watching them I thought of Emmett vs. a grizzly. XD

What zoo did you do that at (the pic with the tiger cub)? My mom has a pic of me witha a tiger cub from I think the San Fran, CA zoo. I love tigers. They're my fav animal ^_^

*blinks* They have bison at your zoo?!? Wow! I didn't know any were in zoos! I don't know why but I like bison. They're not a fav animal, but I think they're really cute. Especially their babies (though most baby animals are kawaii). I love going to the zoo. I wish there was a bigger one near my college. Maybe we should go to the zoo when at the O-con... Thanks for sharing the pics!
