Loved how you wove canon and AU together so beautifully and so cleverly, in a terrific 'what might have been'.
Booth's influence on the young Brennan started very soon after they met (showing how differently she might have developed if she hadn't been abandoned as per canon) and he stayed a constant in her life even when he was absent.
His insistence of taking her back to the prom was so lovely, and so 'Boothy'. (Couldn't help thinking back to Buffy during that scene).
