Well, what can I say. I was skimming through recent Bleach chapters when my attention kept going back to Ishida and I was wondering," Now what is it about you that keeps poking me?' It took me a while to realize exactly what it was, and it calls me to throw out the obligatory random fangirl post which I pick out the ones that YES, pass as dead-

I am glad I wasn't the only one noticing the interesting similarities between Shugo Chara and Nabari No Ou.

Like Ikuto, Yoite taunts the main character, like Ikuto, he wants a power that the main character posesses...(or perhaps the main character his or herself) They are also both broken souls working for the other side that will come around eventually (we hope, but then I am not sure what the right side is in Nabari No Ou).

I half expect Yoite to start playing the violin.

Yoite cranking out the violins would be the most random thing ever and yet, if you think about it, he and violins go strangely well together. (Maybe too well.) xD

LOL. Yes. Yoite is an Ikuto clone. fitting, I don't like either of them. (No offense.) But actually... I'd say Kotarou is the Ishida clone. Seriously, when he popped up I was like ;EIFOSHLKDF WHO IS THAT MAN AND WHY IS HE WEARING ISHIDA'S FACE. He's nearly dorky enough to be Ishida too, if he were a little more serious.

I don't really know much about Kotarou to be honest, though with a little tweak here and there, he definitely could pass for Ishida! :D

And... *laughs* No offense taken at all! (Makes me curious to ask what kind of characters you usually go for if you shot down two of who I consider are the easiest guys to flail over. xD)

Kotarou remins me of Komui (D. Gray Man) more than anyone else.

I think Jenx likes optomistic characters. I was suggesting D. Gray Man to her in another thread because the main character is kinda like Kouichi.

Actually my character choices are a bit unpredictable. XD The only constant is that I never like the main character, and I usually like the characters that everyone else hates (which sucks, but what can ya do)... but I'm sure I'd find someone to like in D Gray Man. I've heard alot of good things about it, and I totally trust your taste. =D

LOL! I didn't notice the similarities in appearances between Yoite and Ishida and Ikuto until you pointed them out xD hehe

I'm in a tough spot between Yoite and (manga) Ikuto - on the one hand, I love that Yoite is a walking ball of mess and issues that's *begging* to be sorted out. On the other, PIMP!IKUTO is absolute love and has induced more than a few "dfkljas;dlfk??" from me whenever he gets in ero-mode. :P

I abhor crossover pairings in general, but I'd give my eyeteeth to see Yoite picking up some pervert tips from Ikuto and use it (because you know, he'd totally do it without really knowing what he's actually doing. xD)

I blame it on the 4-koma in Volume 8, that *killed* me on the spot.

It was working on a het one but the idea of IkutoXMiharu culled my socks. (they are also closer in age than AmuXIkuto.)

XD I have no idea who Ikuto is since I've never watched Shugo Chara, but the comment of: Ikuto giving Yoite pointers on how to Grope and Latch on Miharu, and Yoite wouldn't have a clue what Ikuto was on about, but he'll be all "so this is how you do it" with a straight face a;dflkasdf;k. was brilliant, makes me wanna watch Shugo Chara now just to see Ikuto. I found that Yoite is a real sweety, to me, he appears like a little child who's all confused and stuff everytime I see him =___=;;... though when I see him, I think of Ritsuka from Loveless right away... minus the cat ears... oh wait, nevermind, Ritsuka is probably like what happened if you mix Miharu and Yoite together (minus the cat ears again)

He is just so funny in Shugo Chara, because here is this beautiful show for children and then the sexiest seme from am smut shoujo shows up and starts getting all ero with the main character. -complete with neko-ears no less.

I mean it's still pretty pg.And that isn't why he reminds me of Yoite as much as the fact that they both have a wish that only the main character can fulfill, but as both series progress their wishes seem to change.

Hahahahah. For pervie!Ikuto, go for the manga, as the anime really watered Ikuto's character down to a ball of angst (with you know, the violins and everything lol). Anime!Ikuto is still popular though, for reasons why Yoite is popular too. :P)

I have to warn you though, I wasn't kidding about how pink and frilly the series is. If it weren't for Amu and Ikuto, I'd have died of sugary-sweet overdose already. xD

Ritsuka and Miharu are a bit alike, though Ritsuka is more cynical and has a different approach to the "I don't care" attitude. :D Yoite, on the other hand, based on what I read so far, he's totally oblivious to relationship-building that it's umm sorta easy to take advantage of him in more than one ways. xD

But yeah, the whole Miharu and Yoite thing in the manga made me want to smack Yoite silly on the head since he's just SO oblivious... >__________<;;; though probably it's actually less oblivous than not taking advantage of the whole situation. Seriously, Miharu's totally willing there... XD

Hmm... I think regarding Ritsuka and Miharu, the biggest difference might be how Ritsuka is more energetic... well, he's a mischievous kitten after all while Miharu is just plain sneaky (scheming? I totally feel sorry for Tobari) kitten...

Thus far I could only remember two lookalikes, and neither is from anime.
The first one being Count Cain (manga of the same name by Kaori Yuki).

I love Count Cain's newer style, but it's hard to take it seriously at times, as Kaori Yuki tends to go overboard with her plot twists that some of it ends up being pretentious and overblown. ^^;; This is probably why I can't take him seriously (though I love his master/servant relationship with Riff, particularly evil!Riff's arc and the way the good and evil sides fought with each other...)

And *flails* A SMT FAN! xD I've had that game on hold forever, ever since I found out I've been playing the leaked beta-version all along so I wasn't motivated enough to go back to restarting it again. :(
