Well, what can I say. I was skimming through recent Bleach chapters when my attention kept going back to Ishida and I was wondering," Now what is it about you that keeps poking me?' It took me a while to realize exactly what it was, and it calls me to throw out the obligatory random fangirl post which I pick out the ones that YES, pass as dead-

Thus far I could only remember two lookalikes, and neither is from anime.
The first one being Count Cain (manga of the same name by Kaori Yuki).
He's a ball of angst alright, but his character is very different from Yoite's. Cain's both stronger and weaker than him. And he's tragic. It's a bit hard to describe him, since I read that manga quite a while ago.
And the second one - Nitta Isamu from Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne video game. Complete with a hat.
I don't know about Isamu's character, though, I'm not that far in the game. ^^

I love Count Cain's newer style, but it's hard to take it seriously at times, as Kaori Yuki tends to go overboard with her plot twists that some of it ends up being pretentious and overblown. ^^;; This is probably why I can't take him seriously (though I love his master/servant relationship with Riff, particularly evil!Riff's arc and the way the good and evil sides fought with each other...)
And *flails* A SMT FAN! xD I've had that game on hold forever, ever since I found out I've been playing the leaked beta-version all along so I wasn't motivated enough to go back to restarting it again. :(

Oh, too bad about the game. :( It's really sad. I didn't see much of it myself (such irony, after hunting everywhere for SMT: Nocturne), I've only met Chiaki in that changed Tokyo, and then I had no more time to play, with studying and work. -_-" The game's very addicting, though, and it made me a fan of SMT-series and Atlus in general.

I've had ALL the SMT series on hold, but the ones I saw through to the end is Persona 2 : Batsu and Persona 3. <333 I love them all really, much more than what Square-Enix is coming out with lately. :'(

These games have more edge, so to say, than Square-Enix ones, although I'm interested in those as well.
