Poor Mia. She got spayed and had 4 of her teeth pulled at the same time (the second part was unexpected). I know what's lacking - it's music. I went with my mom to listen to her choir sing tonight, sans my mom because my grandfather's still in the hospital. They were doing a medley of Broadway songs. I am the happiest person in the world right now. I just found my ZTA badge, the turquoise and silver bracelet Marta gave me, and the glass seashell necklace I got in Charleston. Cleaning up DEFINITELY pays off! I thought I had lost all three for good and was trés triste about it.

Boy do I need this road trip! Going to Memphis tomorrow to see Jess :). Today has turned out better than yesterday, which was the pits. I need a new job. I haven't been really sick in years. This is the kind of sick where all I can muster the strength to do is sit on the sofa and watch tv. Even Gilmore Girls got old and I'm almost out of movies I would like to see. I feel like I have the flu, but it's probably 'just' walking pneumonia like dad had.
