I voted for both! AO3 has a really large section of Star Trek fics, which is part of why I love it, so I'd love to see yours join the ones there :D

I have, I'm sorry to say, never actually thought to look for Trek fic there! :o Clearly this is something that I shall have to remedy.

I . . . okay, I think I understand most of that. XD Though I have absolutely no idea how to create a zipped file. [/technofail]

Wha-hey! So, to be clear:

1. Burn the music onto a CD
2. Upload the music from the CD onto the computer, I assume into a folder of its own
3. Perform the above actions on said folder

Y/N?

As a fellow kindle owner, fics on archives make my life a heck lot easier. SO I APPRECIATE THIS, VERY MUCH. <3 Both would be awesome, but if you're too busy, AO3's download option's pretty nifty so that'd be my preferred site?

That's what I've been given to understand, so if I decide to archive elsewhere I'll probably start with AO3 and possibly move on to the K/S archive when I have more time. ^_^

AO3!!!

IS LOVE. PURE LOVE! WITH EASY DOWNLOADS, CUSTOM TAGS AND YAY AWESOME SEARCH OPTIONS.

But I voted for both, because moar archives are better :D (That's what I tell myself when I'm crossposting like whoa, anyways--I used to hate trawling LJ for fic before I got used to it, it was nicer to go somewhere like the archive and browse for things that struck my fancy at my leisure and in the same format :D )

Yeah, the tags and subscriptions are what really made me start to consider it. And the possibility of being able to subscribe to an RSS feed someday for certain tags in particular is OMG amazing!

I'm thinking of starting out there and moving to K/S when I have more time, since the upload process will be a bit more complex. -_-

I voted for both and let me tell you why. Besides the more the merrier, the archives serve different purposes. While it is more time consuming to post to the K/S Archive it does have the benefit of being a dedicated ship archive so anyone seeking K/S knows where to go and it is kinda a safe haven. If you know what I mean.

AO3 on the other hand, is multifandom, multiship and multisource. While they currently are operational for fic they plan to archive fanvids and fanarts as well. It will be a one stop shop for all your fandom needs that much like lj, will bring in fans of all fandoms to seek out your work. It's less limiting and much easier to use. I would use this as your default archive but I could never say no to the K/S archive because it is a wonderful place. <3

I do definitely see what you mean there, and it's why I'm considering both. I'm thinking now of starting on AO3, and then moving on to K/S when I have a bit more time. ^_^

AO3 is definitely the easier of the two to post to. I just used the import option for the first time today and it was so easy! I did have to go in and edit a few things but you can import up to 25 stories at a time. I did not know this! It would seriously ease the way of migrating your masterlist. =)

O.O Really? Up to 25 stories at a time? That . . . that is like pure magic.
