Journal going private
After much thought--really, much, I've been pondering this for some time--I've decided that in the interest of privacy and sanity and all that good stuff, it's time to make this journal friends-only. CLE...mostly win
And wound up as I've been able this CLE the last couple of days, it was good. We started with an update on family law, which some pretty amazing stuff and directly covers some case I've got right now. Also, the news that I might not have to jump through the economic contribution hoops ever again almost made me get up and dance a jig on the table. ( Read more... ) -
Another whirlwind post
Yes, I know that I keep saying tha tmy weeks are like circuses, and that they're crazy and insane and all that good stuff. Well, they are, and they keep being that way, and they do seem to be spiraling into new and different levels of crazy. I am so exhausted right now, it's not even funny. I...can't...focus...
I really think I've set at the very least my own person record of separate and distinct trips to the court house in one day. I had to go three separate times: first thing in the morning to drop off orders for signature, then after lunch to drop off a request for issuance and do some research, and then again right before COB to pick up my rushed ( Read more... ) -
No good deed...
Last night Johnny asked to go outside at around 4 in the morning. He does that pretty rarely now, rather than every night, and has gotten much better about only going out when he really needs to, so I really try to work with him. And she's safe!
I MADE IT. I SURVIVED. BOO-YAH. The office is closed all day tomorrow, so I won't have to go in for a half day before I leave to get Sarah. That's a relief because it will give him some time to get stuff done before I have to leave, rather than having to rush home, walk the dog, change and get on the road. Oh my God, it's been the week from hell and it's only been two days, this is not even a little okay. I had pretrials in one of my cities yesterday, which I normally don't mind and actually kind of enjoy; you hear all sorts of stories in municipal court, let me tell you.
