If you want to protect me so damn much, then affirm my right to move and act as freely as you do without fear of repercussions, and then devote your energies to changing the attitudes of your fellow men instead of telling me to be more responsible so that men won’t rape me.

YES! Exactly. Men love to spout their mouths about what women should or shouldn't do, and they're completely blind to the fact that if they really wanted to help, they should use their power as men to make the world safer by NOT MAKING RAPE SO ACCEPTED. It is not on us as woman to change that, it's on the men.
