Once Upon a Time started out as a cracky fairytale show, but it seems to be developing, rather improbably, into a show about strong, flawed women fighting over something other than a man.

This show would pass the Bechdel Test even if the Bechdel Test required two female characters to control the fate of an entire world.

And I love that.

So my family rented Leap Year because they want us to watch a movie together, and. This movie is the most formulaic, misogynistic tripe. Oh my god. I swear most fanfic is better-written than a Hollywood movie.
