I don't feel so bad about my algebra class now. Today's class was basically reviewing everything for next week's test (meeeeep), and at least half a dozen people looked/sounded as lost and clueless as me. I lost count of how many times me and the two people nearest to me exchanged a "wtf just happened, did you understand any of that?!" look, ( Read more... )

You know, I made a D in regular semester college algebra and an A when I took it again in the summer. I likely should've dropped the first class when I had the chance, but after getting straight A's in High School math I had trouble admitting defeat. As a result both the D and the A figured into my GPA. I don't know what the difference was. The material we covered was the same...

Woo! Congrats on the Psych score! :)

D'oh! That makes me wonder, though... I've been hoping to manage a C in this class, but if they're averaging both my attempts together (my last attempt was a D), then I'll actually need to make a low B this go around. And so far the odds aren't looking good.

I'm passing up a chance to see The Last Crusade on the big screen this weekend to study for this damn test. If I don't pass, there's going to be hell to pay. ;)

And thanks. :)

Hey, good for you!

I became nearsighted at 13. Get your eyes checked.

Next insurance option period, I'm definitely adding Vision.

Good news is I work literally across the street from the biggest hospital/medical district in the state, so finding an eye doctor nearby should be relatively easy. ;) Paying for it without insurance, though... well, there goes another part of my overtime check. :P

That's true. It's why I've got vision insurance.
