That's what I'd thought, but then they kept showing clips of Sylar cutting her head open, and then an episode or two later either Mohinder or the FBI guy he tries to talk to mentions a "Charlene" girl in Texas as among Sylar's victims. So... hmm. Either way though, she's dead, so I guess it doesn't particularly matter.
Yeah, I remember the semi-mystical twin bond thing coming up in several X-Files episodes, but that was the first one I could think of offhand ("Roland," I think was the name).
1. Hero is sweet indeed. You're not the only one wondering about the time travelling mess they keep creating. I also wondered about Charlie and never came up with any explanation... And the show doesn't explain it unfortunately.
2. I like the fact Sylar is a psycho and yet has some depth somehow.
3. I'm a kinda Claire/Peter shipper myself. Not that I want them to be together now we know they're related but because they have a lot of chemistry and their relationship is really interesting. Same thing can be said with Peter/Nathan... I myself don't think it's Claire creating the creepiness, I think it's that whole Petrelli family thing. ;) For instance Claire and her adoptive father have a normal relationship...

I remember a scene now where Mohinder talks to an FBI guy about the "list" of mutants and remember one of them mentions a "Charlene" in Texas as one of Sylar's victims... I think this was after Hiro returned to the present, wasn't it? (That's one drawback of Netflix, you can't go back and check past discs.)

Agreed. If he was a psycho with no depth, that'd make him pretty boring.

Actually, there are moments I do find her adoptive dad's affections slightly creepy, heh. That said, though, yes, those Petrellis certainly are a damn affectionate bunch. ;)

You know, you're gonna become one of us :D
So, are all of Claire's relationships with the men in her family going to have that air of slight creepifyingness? Heh.
Yes. It's incredibly disconcerting.

LOL. Given that my biggest fictional crush is Anakin/Darth Vader, I guess it's not surprising I'd find the psychos compelling. ;)
