Narnia Costume Burbling

Okay, I promised this, so I will deliver.  Even if no one is interested.  : P  Because I enjoy thinking about these simple, fun things after a rotten day at work.

I wonder if the absence of hats in Narnia has anything to do with the Pre-Raphaelite influences? They were quite fond of painting their women with long flowing hair.

That sounds like a very possible explanation!
It would be nice to see some Narnian hats in future, though, I think. Maybe by The Last Battle the Narnian culture will have developed hats! : P
Not that we're likely to get a LB movie. : (

Well, Puddleglum would have a hat. But we're not exactly likely to get a SC movie either. : (

On the other hand, the thought of Tirian wearing a hat (which I am imagining as an Elizabethan soft hat with a long feather) amuses me. hehehe! : D

Heh, when you mentioned Tirian in a hat I pictured a Robin Hood type with a small sharp feather. : D
