Um, so, back in July I posted this
fanmix meme.
I kinda sorta totally forgot to post the rest of the mixes after I posted the Harry/Ginny and Hermione/Snape ones.
So, erm... oops?
(Also, don't forget my
August Frankenmix!)

I can even see Tonks coming through Remus's window, singing and flirting. But I can't see them on drugs. ;)

I love that we agree on so much of fandom! Because Tonks' character was not diminished at all by HBP. Rather, it made her more three-dimensional and real. No one's always happy. And just because Sirius/Remus was definitely canon in the Marauders' era doesn't mean he can't love Tonks. It actually gives them some common ground, because they're both missing him. (And yet people have told me that I can't ship both Marauder-era!Sirius/Remus and HBP!Remus/Tonks without being a hypocrite. *fumes)
And yes, 'Another Day' is the perfect Remus/Tonks song! As is 'If I Could Be Like That'. Because she loves him, and he loves her but he can't admit it and he doesn't want to hurt her. And everything you wrote for 'Beautiful Disaster' was spot-on ( ... )

Oh, oh! I'm so happy we agree there! And I didn't know your take on the whole Remus/Sirius situation, but it was SO canon! =D (I don't see it as canon for the *present*, as 12 years is an awfully long time for them to be as wounded as they were and they are both extremely different men than they were before 1981, and... yeah, can't see it working, anyway.)
(And yet people have told me that I can't ship both Marauder-era!Sirius/Remus and HBP!Remus/Tonks without being a hypocrite. *fumes) OH! Me too!! WTF? Seriously, people. Being with Sirius doesn't necessarily mean Remus is gay and will be FOREVER. Meanwhile, might I mention the term "bisexual?" Really, people? =P ( ... )

Yes, exactly! Because they were awkwardly adorable together in school, but after being apart all during the war, thinking the other was a traitor... that's a lot to ask for in a relationship.
I once heardread their relationship described as 'although Sirius wasn't exactly bi-sexual, he was definitely Remus-sexual' in a fic. That essentially sums it up for me, because even though I see them together, I always imagine Sirius as a relentless girl-chaser (I mean, before he & Remus stopped being shy about it). I think SBP has defined their childhood for me. =P
Ah, and our dear Jack Sparrow Captain Jack Sparrow tells such outlandish tales of Singapore that one must believe at least some of them, savvy?

Singapore, my comments inform me, is everything it's made out to be.
