Trade deadline day always upsets me.

The Chicago Cubs trade LHP Ted Lilly and infielder Ryan Theriot to the Los Angeles Dodgers for infielder Blake DeWitt, RHP Brett Wallach and RHP Kyle Smit. I do not understand DeWitt for Theriot at all. Nor do I understand giving up TWO top prospects for a two-month rental of a reliever that sucks. The Dodgers make my head hurt.

LOL re: Hermida. Having watched him since 2006, I wondered WTF Theo was thinking when he traded for him in the first place. Dude cannot field, cannot hit very well, has absolutely no competitive spirit, and overall just sucks. Marlins fans were very glad to get rid of him, lol.

Um.... Yeah.

And I've never liked Jeremy Hermida either, but we've had such great luck stealing people from the Marlins shouldn't they ALL work out?! Yeah, not so much. Buh bye.
