So, maybe you should mention in the header that your ideas about shifters and pan-weres were possibly inspired by certain books?

I imagine you are referring to the Anita Blake novels? It is true I may have borrowed the term 'panwere' from that source, but the idea behind it has been used in many books - and I wasn't going to start listing every book in the last ten years that mentions such a thing. Besides, Jensen is not actually a panwere - that was a term that Jared applied after researching on the internet - as he is not infected with lycanthropy at all. What he, and Mike, are is a different type of human being that happen to be able to change into anything they like at will.

*nods* I was thinking more Sam from Sookie Stackhouse rather than Anita Blake, actually... But like you said, I am sure there are plenty of other books out there with similar ideas.

Actually, you got me thinking. I think I borrowed a few ideas from Christine Feehan's Carpathians! And Dara Joy's futuristic series. LOL. I could go on and on...
