Yes, I know, I know. I'm able bodied. I can take the stairs. But I'm not exactly able minded. I'm terrified of escalators that go down. I can ride up one for a limited distance, but I can barely make myself go down. It involves white knuckles and crying ( Read more... )

Hey

I didn't realize you were that afraid of stair wells...I don't have panic attacks much, but I sometimes freak out now on planes after that seizure I had going to AU the first time...And to think I've done the AU trip again hehe...

You know my friend in Au has panic attacks sometimes just riding in a car...She does things with her hands such as writing text messages or writing things on paper, when she feels like she is going to have one...She says doing things with your her hands keeps her pre-occupied until the attack passes...

give it a go

Or I could never leave the house again. I think I'm the real winner there.

And I find myself getting worse as I get older. So I probably wasn't as bad when we were in high school together. I'm probably going to turn into a crazy cat lady, except I'm allergic to cats.

Sounds like you need to hire someone who's job is to carry you around 24/7.

LMAO Oh dear Kat. You crack me up.

I hear ya on the panic attacks. I don't understand the escalators/glass elevators, but I KNOW the panic attacks. I just get them for phones. And sometimes when I'm in a car that isn't moving.
