Happy St. Patrick's Day!

And in honor of St. Patrick's Day, I prepared a fine dinner of...Korean stir-fry Beef, Asian vegetables, rice, egg rolls and tea. Although Peire did drink a Killians (American beer with an Irish name), and we were eating on green placemats. So there you go

Right before I found out that I had to go on the no carbs/no sugar diet in order to reduce my blood sugar level, I'd bought the Ben & Jerry's "Dublin Mudslide" ice cream, which tastes as if it has Irish Cream in it. I'd not had a chance to crack into the ice cream, when I found out that I had better not eat that stuff if I knew what was good for me, and so it just sits in the freezer, taunting me (and probably getting freezer burn so that it isn't good anymore anyway).

I so wish I could eat that ice cream in honor of the holiday! But I'll be good.
