Well, if Omi is going to let a family member dictate what he does with his life and how, Ouka is not a bad person to have doing the telling (esp. compared to the alternatives)

The scene where she dies just kills me, because I love her and she's adorable and I'm sad that she died and Omi's all alone and...omg it is the most RIDICULOUS SCENE IN FICTION I SWEAR, HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY.

I think the thing they cracked me up most was Farfie's 'has to be seen to be belueved' way of mincing off at high speed as he and Schu made their getaway.

Like, on the one hand here we have a scary, scarred, knife-licking, one-eyed menacing menace out to menacingly menace you and on the othe is the fact that he runs. Like. THAT.

. . . why the hell has no one written the fic where Ouka and Omi both know exactly who they are and what's going on, and they're doing this on purpose, and laughing at everyone, and plotting behind the scenes about how he's going to run Kritiker and she's going to be the official head of the family, and it could also be a fix-it fic because they FAKED HER DEATH?

I want to read the HELL out of that now!

Because of course Grandfather would never let a woman be his heir, and they couldn't let Ouka get married off and just kill the husband later because 1) the whole did they really sleep together scandal was going to be very useful and very distracting but really, it was going to be ENOUGH scandal, and also, Grandfather's taste in men = ew.
