Today I paid the last rent to my current landlord. He has confirmed he has given a reference and received my notice. Things are progressing. He also said he'll need to return my deposit. I have no memory of a deposit so that will be a bonus if he's not getting confused

After "poiting it in the right direction" and "not graunching when you waggle the gear stick" it's pretty much all down hill from there.

Apart from the hill starts, which are usually up hill.....

I've done all that but there's observation, hazards, mirrors, turning, and avoiding morons who don't indicate.
And I still hate hill starts and can't do them.

I have a driving lesson today and last week I reached the "there's so much stuff and I'll never learn and it's all too much" stage. I am told it's part of the process and I'll come out of the other side but I'm really not looking forwards to the lesson.Tell me about it! I mean, take 'going straight ahead on a roundabout', it's a baffling fucking ordeal for me
