Man, I know exactly what you mean. The looks I get from people when I say "Sorry, I only work here once a fortnight, so I don't know where that piece of stock is, let me ask someone else" are so... GAH! And yeah, I get the deadpan looks when I say hi when I'm on registers and it is SO discouraging.

Wrrrrrr I know! It makes your day all the more depressing! I had some customers today telling me ALL about Royal Doulton and how that's not the correct pricing and there IS a 24 piece set because they bought one aaages ago.

Yeah right, this particular pattern was released last year, it DOESN'T come in a 24 pc (we have to make it up with loose stock) and the pricing is correct. Just because you were looking on the internet at someone elses' pricings doesn't mean they are right. Jeeez! Hello? Do you work for Royal Doulton then?
