I hate people

I don't understand what makes some people such giant assholes. In my job I go around to different branches of the bank whenever they need an extra person, usually for a week, sometimes more sometimes less. But then I don't really get to know the customers who come in like the rest of the tellers. So I get yelled at all the time for asking people

And you know that if someone stole their checkbook and used it the first thing they would ask is why no one checked their ID!
Usually I try to not let it bother me if they complain, but when someone as to go to use that kind of language is NOT OK! UGH! What an asshole! How dare I do my job properly??

The crazy thing is if he's been coming to the bank for years he ought to recognize that you aren't a usual teller and thus it's understandable that you don't know him and ask for ID.

Yeah, he was like a total redneck guy. I thought he might pull a shotgun outta the back of his truck and shoot me in the face!

Yeah he definitely should know that if he doesn't know me then obviously I don't know him, but he's a freaking idiot loser so that would probably never occur to him!

And it wouldn't be such a big deal but people are always trying to get shitty with me about it. And if it was a hassle, then I'd be more lenient, but it takes no time at all and it's part of my job! UGH! IDIOT!!

I'm glad that at least you have the support of your co-workers. I've been in job situations where if somebody bitches about you, even if they are OBVIOUSLY the ones in the wrong, the manager will pretend to take their side until they leave the area.

Yeah I'm so lucky to work with cool people. The place where I used to work would always just do whatever the customers wanted to keep them happy, but then it always made us employees look stupid! It made me so mad!! But if I cashed a check for someone without getting his ID or whatever and then it wasn't him or he tried to say it wasn't him, then it would come back against me, so that jerk guy can kiss my ass! I would like to keep my job thank you very much
