The fact that I am excited about the 'cover art' release for City of Lost Souls is truly embarrassing to say the least. Cassandra Clare has posted the cover art for her next book in The Mortal Instruments series and has a released an excerpt from the book which is scheduled for distribution on May 8, 2012. And here it is...

That's a pretty cover, but disappointing always when the characters don't look the way you imagine them. :(
