My family flew to Elm Grove, Wisconsin this weekend for my Uncle Bill's funeral. He was about 25 years older than my dad. It was good to see family - more Dennys. It's always nice to spend time with blood relatives, to get a better understanding of where you come from, and to be around people who innately connect to you.

watch out for the Merry Christmas Virus. it's supposed to be really bad - bypassing even the latest updated scanning software. it appears as a "merry christmas" attachment on spammed email. if you see it, obviously don't open it/click on it, but it's possible that your computer has already been infected at that point. the best thing everyone ( Read more... )

The other day a boy was walking his black lab puppy through the parking lot at GCC. I asked to pet her and when I squatted down to scratch it's little puppy ears, it ran around my legs, squeezed underneath me, and plopped itself down on the ground right under me.
